Very minimal downtime. The treatments can be a little intense, so Monica will use topical numbing for 30 minutes before the treatment.

Plasma Pen

This relatively new treatment concept harnesses the power of proprietary ARC technology encompassed within plasma energy. This creates tighter, smoother skin with long lasting results. Popular treatment areas include upper and lower eyelids and crows feet, but Monica can do the entire face and neck as well.

So what is ARC Energy? The PlasmaMD Pen device emits plasma energy which reacts with nitrogen molecules in the air from up to 1 mm away. This creates an energetic burst in the shape of an arc between the device and the skin for very precise outcomes.

The treatment can take an hour or more depending on how large an area is treated. Topical numbing cream is applied to the area for at least 30 minutes prior to treatment. There really isn’t discomfort after the procedure.

These are the little brown dots you see after your PlasmaMD Pen treatment. They will gradually slough off leaving tighter skin. This patient now only requires about half as much Dysport in her crows feet.
